Look, Cover, Write, Check

A great way to practise phonics, spelling patterns or the common exception words listed in the UK English Curriculum.

This game does not store or share any spelling / personal data.

1. Choose a year group frrom the circle buttons.
2. Choose a tab (spelling patterns or common exception words)
3. Choose a set of words, (you can see the words you've chosen on the RHS).
4. Finally press 'go'.

You can see how many words there are left to go on the LHS. The yellow indicator lights turn on as you complete each word.

This game uses an on-screen keyboard to minimise disruption when playing on a tablet device. There is no option to use a desktop keyboard.

This game follows the UK .GOV rules and guidance laid down in Spelling Appendix 1.
