Meerkat Maths - subtraction as difference

Solve 2-digit subtraction using difference.

1. We're solving 2-digit subtraction but as difference; an informal method.
2. Aim: to rob the Mole Bank of all 5 treasures.
3. The player must work out the jump from the Subtrahend to the next ten.
4. Then how many jumps of ten.
5. Then the jump to the Minuend
6. Finally add up all the jumps to gain the Difference.
7. The game is over when the Rhino Police chase off the robbers.
