	Nile Numbers Nile Numbers is a tablet-friendly counting in words game. Learning Objectives: Y1: To count to and across 100, forwards (and backwards), beginning with 0 or 1, or from any given number. Y1: To read and write numbers from 1 to 20 in numerals and words Y2: To read and write numbers to at least 100 in numerals and in words. When I use this game I give every child a drywipe board. Somebody presses 'next ball' Then everyone tries to spell the number 'in English' rather than 'in Maths' before the ball reaches the bottom and the correct spelling is revealed.
