Shape Escape- Recognise and name common 2D and 3D shapes.

Learning objectives:

  • YR1: recognise and name common 2-D and 3-D shapes, including:
    2-D shapes [for example, rectangles (including squares), circles and triangles].
    3-D shapes [for example, cuboids (including cubes), pyramids and spheres]
Choose a level by clicking one of the doors.
Level 1 has simple 2D shapes-circle, square, rectangle and triangle.
Level 2 has 3D shapes-sphere, cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder and pyramid.
Level 3 has trickier 2D shapes-rhombus, pentagon, hexagon and octagon.
You have been exploring The Shape Pyramids of Eygpt.
To find your way out, listen to the pyramid guide who will say the name of the shape or you can read the word over the door.
If you get it correct the doors will open and you will move into the next room.
The pyramid guide will appear to encourage you.
Keep correctly picking shapes to escape the pyramid.
